Hatch Wines Mixed Dozen

James Halliday announced his retirement from wine reviewing this month and I consider myself fortunate to have my first vintage wines featured amongst a handful of his final Weekend Australian columns. The scores were very comforting, the words assuring. The column created plenty of interest and helped shine the spotlight. More recently, Huon Hooke’s Real Review included Hatch Wines in their annual list of Australia’s Top Wineries. New deposits in the confidence bank gratefully welcomed in the early days of this new chapter in wine.
